Bashkiria is ready to host 7th International Veterinary Congress

The main work on the preparation for the 7th International Veterinary Congress in Bashkortostan has been completed. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Irek Mukhametdinov stated this at a press conference in the Bashinform News Agency.
The Congress will be held in Ufa from April 19 to 21.
According to the executive director of the Russian Veterinary Association Sergey Lakhtyukhov, the congress is rightly considered to be the central event in the field of veterinary medicine in the Eurasian Economic Union. The high status of the congress is conditioned by active state support and participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and Rosselkhoznadzor, the main state veterinary inspectors of foreign countries and the CIS, as well as high professional level of invited foreign and domestic speakers. Among them there are scientists and representatives of the veterinary administration of over 20 states.
The conference participants stressed that the International Veterinary Congress is a unique information platform featuring modern scientific and practical trends, the main principles of animal husbandry and veterinary support of livestock production and the latest achievements of global science.
The program of the congress is extensive and diverse. Among the topics planned for discussion are veterinary services for livestock and public veterinary supervision; actual veterinary aspects of dairy and beef cattle breeding; veterinary and technological solutions in industrial poultry and pig production. The first time the disease of bees will be considered at the International Veterinary Congress.
In addition, according to tradition, an exhibition of veterinary and medical equipment, pharmacological drugs for treatment and prevention of animal diseases, tools, accessories for care and maintenance of animals, feed and feed additives, as well as specialized literature will be held.
