Average salary is defined in Bashkortostan

In Bashkortostan an average salary was 28,316 rubles in January this year. The subsistence minimum for the able-bodied population amounted to 8,869 rubles.
According to the data of sample labour force surveys on average for November 2016 — January 2017, the labour force in the republic exceeds 2 million people. Such information is provided by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the region.
As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, the average monthly salary of employees of enterprises and organizations in the region for January-December 2016 amounted to 27,820 rubles. This is by 7.1 percent more than in 2015.
The increase in wages in general for the year occurred in all sectors.
Traditionally, the highest salaries were in production of petroleum products — an average of 69,442 rubles, as well as in mining — 53,665 rubles.
Those who are engaged in chemical production received an average of 43,311 rubles a month in 2016.
Also, the five most highly payable types of economic activity included "Financial activity" — 41,987 rubles a month and "Public administration and ensuring military security; Social insurance "- 38 793 rubles.
The smallest salaries are received by those who are engaged in production of leather, leather goods and footwear — 11,868 rubles, as well as workers in agriculture and forestry — 15,400.
The top five of the lowest-paid industries also included: "Textile and clothing production" — 15 788 rubles, "Hotels and restaurants" — 16 621, "Other production" — 17 619 rubles.
