"Hercules" opera by Bashkir Theatre will be shown in Moscow at "Golden Mask" Festival

Today, on April 13, the play "Hercules" by G.F. Handel will be shown in the Moscow New Opera theatre. The show will take place within the framework of the program of the Russian theatrical festival "Golden Mask". The performance was nominated for the award in two categories: "Opera/Performance" — the conductor's work (Artem Makarov) and "Female Lead" (Dilyara Idrisova).
The director of the play is the Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation, laureate of the F. Volkov State Prize of Russia and the RF Government Prize, the laureate of the Golden Mask, George Isahakian, music director and conductor – the Honoured Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, nominee of the Golden Mask-2017 Artem Makarov. The show starts at 19.00.
On April 15, "The Maid of Orleans" by P.I. Tchaikovsky will be performed in the Stravinsky Hall of Moscow Helikon-Opera Theatre. The director is the winner of international competitions Philip Razenkov, music director and conductor – the Honoured Artist of Russia, People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, laureate of the Golden Mask Valery Platonov.
